Placement Process
Along with other University resources, the Department of Food Science is proud to offer placement assistance for our graduates. The Department has a Placement Coordinator, Gwen Shoemaker, within the Food Science Building that works on scheduling corporate visitors in their interviewing for full time employees as well as interns.
Our graduates are highly competitive in the workforce. Purdue Food Science has maintained 100% placement over the last 15 years. Our undergraduates, 85%, receive at least one internship during their academic studies.
