Katie is researching the bioavailability of soy isoflavones.

Biography

Katie grew up in Mokena, IL, a south suburb of Chicago. She graduated with a B.S. in Food Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2005. As an undergrad, Katie did research on antioxidants in dark chocolate and interned with Kraft Foods, A.E. Staley, and Van Drunen Farms. She enjoys running/working out, cooking, and concerts.
